NOTE:
TOWARDS A GLOBAL ETHIC Drafted initially by Dr. Hans Küng, in cooperation with the Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions staff and Trustees and experts drawing on many of the world's religious and spiritual traditions,
Towards a Global Ethic: An Initial Declaration[1] identifies four essential affirmations as shared principles essential to a global ethic.
1. Commitment to a culture of non-violence and respect for life.
2. Commitment to a culture of solidarity and a just economic order.
3. Commitment to a culture of tolerance and a life of truthfulness.
4. Commitment to a culture of equal rights and partnership between men and women This Declaration was signed at the Parliament of the World's Religions gathering in 1993 by more than 200 leaders from 40+ different faith traditions and spiritual communities. Since 1993 it has been signed by thousands more leaders and individuals around the world. As such, it established a common ground for people of faith to agree and to cooperate for the good of all.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt
"The country needs, the country demands, bold persistent
experimentation...
Above all, try something,"
Roosevelt said in 1932.
If civilization is to survive, we must cultivate the science
of human relationships--the ability of all people of all kinds,
to live together and work together in the same world, at peace.
Franklin Roosevelt

"The American people will not relish the

How about Halliburtin ERS
As men do not live on bread alone, they do not fight
by armaments alone. Those who man our defenses and
those behind them who build our defense must have the
stamina and the courage which come from an unshakable
belief in the manner of life which they are defending.
